Getting to the workshop:
By Bike/Foot
The workshop is located at the east end of Gilmore Place, near the Kings Theatre, not far from both the Canal cycle path and the Meadows. National Route 75 goes past the door.
By Bus:
Lothian Buses services 10 & 27 stop on Gilmore Place outside the shop. Sevices 11, 15, 15A, 16, 23 & 45 stop on Home Street outside or opposite the Cameo Cinema.
By Train:
Take the train to Waverley Station, come out of the station and walk west along Princess Street to locate a bus stop served by one of the above buses.
By Car:
Gilmore Place is in the middle of the Peripheral Controlled Zone. There is a single yellow line immediately outside the shop, where you can park for 5 minutes to load/unload. There are ticket spaces opposite the shop and slightly further up Gilmore Place on the same side. These operate between 9.15 am and 4.30 pm. There are further ticket spaces on Hailes Street, slightly further up Gilmore Place on the opposite side of the road from the shop. These operate between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
